Independent Catholic News was set up on a voluntary basis in May 2000, by a group of journalists moved to play a more active role in the work of the Church, in response to Pope John Paul II’s Tertio Millennio Adveniente.
Today it’s the largest independent Catholic news source online, providing speedy and accurate news coverage of all subjects of interest to Catholics and the wider Christian community. There is also a Saint of the Day, Sunday Reflection, Listings Section, Classified Ads, Prayer Requests and Links pages.
